Sleeping during the Australian summer can be a bit of a tough task.

You might be absolutely exhausted, but without the proper gear, you'll be forever doomed to toss and turn and end up needing a zillion coffees in the morning as a remedy.

But Aldi Australia is here to help by selling a bunch of bedding items that won't require a small mortgage. There's no denying that bedding gear is expensive at the best of times but the discount supermarket has decided to cut us all some slack.

You can pick up some ultra fancy silk pillow cases and accompanying eye mask for just $40 and a weighted blanket for $90.

Research has revealed that weighted blankets, which are anywhere between two and 13kgs, can help relieve pain, reduce anxiety and improve a person's mood. There's something about the weight bearing down on you during the night that produces these benefits.

Hopefully you have a fan or an air conditioning unit in your home because it could be a sweaty night with one of these bad boys on top of you (and not in a good way).

You can also pick up a V-Shape Memory Foam Pillow for just $40.

You can forget the days of spooning with nothing as this can act as a faux-bedroom partner.

But if those aren't your jam then there are other pillows you can pick up that will be better than those ones you've been carting around since your university days.

For just $40 you can grab a Ventilated Memory Foam Pillow or a Gel-Infused Talalay Latex Pillow, which both sound really fancy.

These items will be available as part of Aldi Australia's Special Buys and they'll be on sale on January 22.

Be quick, because everyone wants a good night's sleep.
