Just before 11pm the pair of men were seen setting fire to the family's Ford Mondeo.
The Smithy family are internet famous with 2.5 million followers on TikTok yet they were left 'devastated' when their semi-detached home was destroyed by flames.
Nick is a dad of three and in a video that was posted late last night, he claimed the attackers were armed with a 'milk bottle of accelerant'.

Whilst urging anyone with any information to come forward, he informed his followers that one of the attackers may have burn injuries to his arm.
He said: "The level they have gone to to do this is unreal. We had to go through that ordeal.
"It can't happen again to someone else. Next time it could be someone that's died.
"So please, take a good look, give this a share - let's see if we can find these people."

According to the footage, the two hooded crooks were wearing face masks and from across the road they were checking out the house appearing to see if anyone was in, after making their way to the driveway.
A man who appears to be wearing shorts then smashes open the back window of the family car with a crowbar.

Shortly after his pal casually walks towards the car, he opens the side door and begins to pour the flammable liquid into the back seats of the vehicle.
Just to give an example of the stupidity of the pair, one of them sets fire to the car whilst setting his arm alight.

When the family got home, Nick shared a video of the burnt house with his followers along with disturbing footage of his daughters room, which was where they were sleeping when the fire took place.
Understandably looking upset and teary, the dad said: "My girls were in this room but that don't matter to you, does it?"
"One of you filmed it while the other done it. I don't think you realise the consequences."
"It can't happen again to someone else. Next time it could be someone that's died."
