A Jamaican hurdler who got lost on his way to the Tokyo Olympics has tracked down the volunteer that gave him cab money to get to the games. Watch video below:

Hansle Parchment, 31, got lost on his way to his bus ride to the stadium and ended up at an aquatics centre rather than at the track.

After finding help from Olympics officials, he found that his only option was to head back to Olympic Village to take another bus journey to the current venue.

Thankfully, he then ran into 25-year-old Olympics volunteer Tijana Stojkovic, who give him money to grab a cab directly to the game.

Two days later, the athlete decided to trace his steps to find the good Samaritan.

In the video, he finds her at a bus stop and expresses his gratitude, saying that she was 'instrumental in getting me to the final that day', after handing her his gold medal.

He said: "That's just because you helped me."

He gifted Tijana a yellow Team Jamaica shirt and paid her back for the cab fare.

The pair posed for a photo together and Tijana took to social media to post a photo of her wearing the top.

The original clip was posted on Twitter a few days ago and has received over a thousand likes with many users replying to the tweet.

One user wrote: "Mr Hansle Parchment you represent the true Flag of Jamaica Jamaican Spirit of LOVE, RESPECT AND APPRECIATION. Bro you have taken your credibility to the highest level, congratulations."
