The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office is reportedly searching for footage of Alec Baldwin's fatal shooting during the filming of Rust.
Police have issued an affidavit for a search warrant and Detective Joel Cano asked the courts 'to confirm if the incident that took place was or wasn't recorded', according to Deadline.
"The warrant was executed this afternoon and they are out there right now," Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office spokesman Juan Rios confirmed to the publication.

The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office are said to want all possible footage, as well as production computer equipment, memory and other digital cards, all weapons (real and prop), all weapon ownership documents.
They also want mobile phones and smartphones of crew and cast that may have captured footage and photos of the location.
The incident occurred when Baldwin had hold of a prop gun and accidentally discharged it towards two members of the film crew.

Halyna Hutchins, director of photography, was killed and the film's director Joel Souza was injured.
Hutchins was pronounced dead after being airlifted from site and taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital and Souza, was released from hospital yesterday (22 October).
However, ITV did report that Baldwin was unknowingly handed the loaded weapon by an assistant director, who said it was safe to use, which was moments before the shooting occurred.
Court records released on Friday claimed the assistant director said 'cold gun' just before the shooting took place, not knowing the prop gun was loaded with live rounds, according to a search warrant filed in a Santa Fe court.

It has also been revealed the gun that shot cinematographer Hutchins was a vintage colt pistol.
According to the Daily Mail, a call sheet was obtained where Baldwin was allegedly taking part in a mock gunfight inside the church building on the Bonanza Ranch film set when Hutchins was hit.
Daily Mail also claims that co-stars Jensen Ackles, Swen Temmel and Travis Hammer were also said to be involved in the scene, numbered 121, alongside Baldwin's stunt double Blake Teixeira and stunt coordinator Allan Graf.
Yesterday, Baldwin spoke publicly for the first time since the tragic accident.

"I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family.
"My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna."
