Former Animal Hospital presenter Rolf Harris has been released on bail from Stafford Prison today after almost three years behind bars. He was serving a sentence of more than five years.
The 87-year-old left the prison in the early hours of this morning in order to avoid paparazzi and was taken back to his mansion in Berkshire by bodyguards.
The Australian-born entertainer was released from jail due to changed legislation. He was thought to be in failing health due to his advanced age, and his 85-year-old wife, Alwen, is also thought to be in poor health.
