Earlier, The Times reported that England boss Sam Allardyce was on his way to Wembley to face the chop after being exposed by undercover reporters as having advised 'businessmen' on how to 'get around' FA rules on player transfers.
We can now report that Allardyce has reportedly offered to hand in his resignation.
It comes after reports that the 'extremely disturbed' FA chairman, Greg Clarke, and chief executive Martin Glenn had held a crisis meeting earlier this morning to determine Big Sam's future as England boss.

Allardyce had been the victim of a 10-month investigation into football corruption and bribery by undercover reporters. On a trip from Singapore to Hong Kong, Allardyce was caught on camera negotiating a £400,000 deal.
He signed a two-year contract with the England national side on July 22nd this year. He led them to a last-minute win against Slovakia on September 4th in what could well prove to be his first and final game in charge, if his resignation is accepted.
