A woman shared a TikTok on a hilarious mistaken visit from child social services. Check it out in the video below:

TikToker Kayleigh says that she answered the door to a child services worker who then invited herself into her home.

According to Kayleigh, the inspector said: "We've had a call regarding your son called George, of neglect."

The child services worker allegedly said that they were concerned for the welfare of George and was informed that the TikToker was always telling her son that they're not allowed any more food, also that 'they've had enough meals today because you've already fed them'.

Kayleigh said: "So I'm letting this woman go on and on and on.

"[I asked her] 'would you like to see George to show that he's not neglected?'.

"So she says 'yes please', so I go upstairs trying not to laugh - to then present her with my fat ginger life-sized Garfield cat called George."

Oh, wow that's embarrassing.

The cat owner continued: "The woman looked at me like, 'Is this a joke?', I said love they should have rang the RSPCA not social services.

"George is actually a f****** cat, a very fat f****** cat who gets fed three meals a day without snacks in between and stealing whatever he can."

Whilst laughing, she adds: "So if I'm telling my cat to f*** off, please mind your business."

Meet George.

Her viral vid racked up 1.3 million views and 212,000 likes.

One user wrote: "its sweet they were worried for a potential child, they had no way of knowing it's a cat but tbh that makes it sm better."

A second user joked: "George has clearly learned to use the phone."

Whilst a third user concluded: "Hilarious but also fair play to the person who rang...If it had been a child they could have been being abused. They protected them."

Yeah, fair play because their job is obviously very important.

However, it's always good to double check you're enquiring about a child, not Garfield.
