Zelda Williams has slammed Eric Trump after he shared a video of her late father Robin Williams.

The 31-year-old was outraged after Trump, the son of US President Donald, posted a clip to Twitter of the comedian poking fun at Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Not letting it slide, Zelda retweeted the post, stating that her father wasn't a massive fan of Eric's dad either and said much, much worse things about the incumbent president than his opponent.

In the clip from a stand-up routine, the Mrs Doubtfire actor makes fun of Biden's competance.

He says: "We still have great comedy out there. There's always rambling Joe Biden. What the f***? Joe says s*** that even people with Tourette's go, 'No.' What is going on? Joe is like your uncle who's on a new drug and hasn't got the dosage right."

After he posted the footage, Zelda hit back, writing: "While we're 'reminiscing' (to further your political agenda), you should look up what he said about your Dad. I did. Promise you, it's much more 'savage'.

"Gentle reminder that the dead can't vote, but the living can."

For an idea of what Williams thought of Trump, you only need to do a quick check on the internet.

Footage has recently emerged showing the genius comic calling Trump 'a scary man'.

He says: "Donald Trump is the Wizard of Oz. He plays Monopoly with real f***ing buildings. This is a scary man."

Then, Williams refers to the bizarre moment Trump went on television and said that if he wasn't Ivanka's father, he would want to date her.

Skewering the President, Williams says: "This is a man who said, 'My daughter is hot'.

"Even people in Arkansas went, 'That's f***ing wrong. That's just way out of place'."

Adding: "He owns all these beauty pageants... isn't that bit like Michael Vick owning a series of pet stores? It's a f***ing catch-and-release program for him."

Earlier this week, it was announced that a new documentary is set for release that will delve into the final days of Robin Williams' life.

Robin's Wish includes interviews with the late comedian's family, friends and colleagues to explore his state of mind in the lead up to his untimely death.

It will also, for the first time, explain exactly how Williams' life had been affected by the condition he had been suffering from but not known about, Lewy Body Dementia.
