Fans enjoying Liverpool's win over Tottenham in the Champions League final last night were still out celebrating this morning.
Supporters across Liverpool had been jam-packed into bars throughout the day - when the final whistle blew, they took to the streets, waving flags and making a racket as their team picked up the trophy for the sixth time.

Photographs show smoky scenes as flares and pyrotechnics were set off in the streets, while others show fellas sat on their pals' shoulders, scarves and flags waving and, of course, thousands of beaming smiles.
Videos recorded in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle show fans blocking the road and singing to a motorist who, in fairness, doesn't seem too put out by the whole thing.
Fans also stopped off to pose by a massive piece of Jürgen Klopp artwork.

Even when it started pissing down at 1am, no one seemed to let it put a dampener on their spirits and the streets and bars were still rammed.
Outside of the city centre, fans were seen at Anfield going wild and others were photographed taking a little road-side disco nap.
Pubs were open late into the night and re-opened early this morning for people who hadn't quite finishing partying yet.

Speaking as someone who had to use Lime Street Station this morning, I can confirm that many people showed absolutely no signs of slowing down any time soon, which is one way to dodge the hangover, I guess.
Unsurprisingly, similar scenes could be seen in Madrid, where reds packed out the streets and refused to call it a night.
Meanwhile, the players are on their way back to the city where they will take part in a victory parade though the city, which will be another good reason to get to the pub, of course.

I hope employers in the city aren't expecting too much from their workers tomorrow.
