Most of us might have imagined how we'd react at finding out we were being cheated on. Whether you'd walk away with your dignity in tact, throw your partner's clothes out of the upstairs window or put on a more extravagant display - it's probably one of those deal with it when it happens moments.

For some it may be a very unfortunate reality, especially for one anonymous person in Oldham who resorted to sticking 'cheating husband' posters up all around the town. See - deal with it when it happens.

The bizarre posters have been pinned on trees, lampposts, bins and even cars in the Glodwick and Alexandra Park areas of Oldham in Greater Manchester.

One of the handwritten A4 notes, which appeared on Saturday morning (6 March), reads 'CHEATER ALERT' and threatens to out the 'unfaithful husband'.

The author named a street in Oldham followed by 'find out soon'. Another poster, naming the same street, states: "Do you cheat on your wife? Soon to be reveled (sic). Are you the ******* Street serial cheat?"

Another poster reveals some of the letters of the accused's name, while one stuck to a bench asks: "Do you know where your husband is tonight? Last night? Last week?"

Pictures of the posters have been widely shared on social media. It's not clear who is behind the campaign or when the so-called cheater will be revealed.

Another person who didn't take kindly to being cheated on was the woman who spray painted her exes car with the words 'cheater' and 'man w***e'.

Upon finding out her fella had been up to no good with another woman (and was expecting a baby with her), she took to the streets of Adelaide, Australia, to vandalise his Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe, which cost £130,000.

Ouch indeed.

That's not all she did either because social media users posted pictures of the woman going to town on his prized possession with a baseball bat.

A witness told Daily Mail Australia: "All of a sudden, this woman pulls up and walks over to the car. It looked like she was spray painting on the side. Then she comes around the side near me and wrote 'cheater'.

"She walked back to her car and I thought it was all over, but then she pulled out the baseball bat and whacked the mirror."
