The woman who went viral for holding up a hilarious 'Mrs Grealish 69' shirt at Wembley during the Euro 2020 final has joked that Jack Grealish is 'playing hard to get'.

As cameras panned out across the crowd, viewers clocked one supporter proudly waving around a Manchester United shirt with the words 'Mrs Grealish 69' printed on it.

It wasn't long before images of the grinning Grealish super-fan flooded social media with users throwing their undying support behind the woman.

And now Darcie Philp, 28, has spoken out about whether Jack has made contact with her.

Speaking to OK!, she said: "Do you know what? I think it's really cheeky. He's not even requested to follow me on Instagram.

"I think he's playing hard to get. I hope he hasn't seen all the memes though."

She joked: "I know he's got a girlfriend, but she's nothing on Mrs Grealish 69!"

She said she didn't even notice she was being shown on the telly until the match ended.

Darcie told the publication: "I didn't have any idea I was being filmed.

"My phone was really low on battery so I had it on plane mode. So, when people saw me on the telly, my mum texted my sister saying I can see you.

"But I thought it was a quick glance and when the match ended, I took my phone off plane mode I saw I had over 500 notifications."

The reaction to the shirt on social media was incredible, with people unanimously agreeing that Darcie's shirt was hilarious:

Darcie said: "I had messages from people I haven't spoken to for years and people who didn't even know me.

"It blew my mind. Everyone was tagging me in the memes and stuff. I was thinking, this is crazy. It was a little bit wild, to be honest."

But despite the support of the crowd - and Grealish's soon-to-be wife Darcie - England lost on penalties to Italy in the match.
