Two Men Have Been Stabbed After People Gathered At 'Beach Rave' In Kent

Both of the victims were taken to hospital in a serious but non life-threatening condition and a 24-year-old man has been arrested

Two people were stabbed at a 'beach rave' on the Isle of Sheppey last night (25 June), according to Kent Police.

It is being reported that large groups of people were partying on the beach in what has been advertised on social media as a 'three-day event'.

In a statement to KentLive, authorities said: "At around 11.55pm, it was reported that two people had been assaulted on The Promenade.

"South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and two men in their 20s, both from the London area, were taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds.

"Their injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

"A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody."
