A woman was given a rather brutally honest response when she asked a date why they 'never progressed'. You can check out the conversation here:

TikTok user Danielle, who posts under @danielleria1, decided to, somewhat bravely, reach out to a guy she had been on two dates with for his view on why it fizzled out.

And, fair play to him, he didn't sugar coat.

Danielle asked the bloke: "Hey, hope you're alright. Real random one, but I was wondering if you could give me a little insight on why dating never really progressed with us? Just looking for a bit of feedback."

He responded: "I'm good thanks, hope you're good too. It's dating on apps, gives people too many options and variety. It's killed the dating game."

Danielle then asked the man if he had returned to Tinder afterwards, which he confirmed, prompting Danielle to ask how that was going for him.

He bluntly replied: "It's a shag fest."

Fair enough.

Sharing the screenshots of the exchange Danielle explained: "So I'm gonna show you a text from a conversation from a lad who I've seen previously and then I think we need to discuss it.

"The text came about because I wanted a little bit of feedback from him. We went on two dates and it just kind of fizzled out. So from his point of view, I wanted to know why it fizzled out.

"I mean he was honest. I'll give him that."

After sharing the video on TikTok, fellow users agreed that dating apps gave people too much choice, while others praised her decision to ask for feedback.

One said: "That's the problem these days! Too many options. It's no joke.

"There's no joy in dating anymore. I don't think it's odd asking for feedback."

Another said: "Just you sending that message for clarity in the first place is such a bold move. And your reaction is a winner."

A third wrote: "Asking for feedback is not strange at all.

"This is exactly why dating on dating apps doesn't work! It's like a pick and mix, mainly for guys."

S shared: "It's addictive swiping. It's a pile of people at your fingertips and most swipe when bored so you get used to doing it."
