A mum was left in hysterics after noticing a rude design on her son's pyjamas.

Anna Armstrong, from Poole, Dorset, recently picked up a two-pack set of bed clothes for her little lad Raphael from Sainsbury's, thinking they were just the ticket.

Both pairs were yellow and blue and had drawings of wild animals such as giraffes, elephants, zebras, and lions.

However, on closer inspection of the large print of the lion's face on the pyjama top, Anna realised to her amusement its nose resembled something a bit more x-rated.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Anna said: "I got him dressed and was mortified to see a phallic space straight away. I sent the pics to my fiancé, we found it hysterical.

"Is it just our dirty minds or are the designers at TU for Sainsbury's having a laugh?"

She added: "No wonder they were in the sale! My friend bought the same outfit and didn't notice until her husband pointed it out.

"Now there are so many babies out there in these naughty pyjamas. I find it absolutely hilarious."

Now, not one to keep such a good story to herself, Anna decided to share her amusing tale with her friends on Facebook.

She wrote: "Has anyone else got this outfit from Sainsbury's for their little one?

"Didn't notice until I got him dressed this morning but now I can see why it was in the sale. Oops."

But despite the risqué design, the PJs are proving extremely popular with other parents.

According to reports, some have even left five star reviews of the product.

One customer wrote: "Ahhhh, the blue top really made me chuckle, thanks for the laugh Sainsbury's!"

LADbible has contacted Sainsbury's for a comment.

It's not just clothes that have been leaving people a little red-faced.

Thanks to a solidified splodge of melted chocolate, Jason Greaves was stunned when he cracked open his chocolate Santa and found he had a little penis.

Back in 2019, a shocked Jason discovered St Nick's tiny truncheon when he tucked into the £1 festive treat from his local Tesco.

The 28-year-old unwrapped the hollow chocolate Santa, but when he smashed through the front he noticed an unusual penis-shaped splodge inside the bottom half of the chocolate.

He called over partner Candice, 19, and the pair giggled before taking a few pictures.

The clothing company director left the snack uneaten while he contacted Tesco to alert them of a possible bad batch.
