Donald Trump's Spiritual Adviser Summons 'Angelic Forces' To Secure Re-Election

It's a long shot

Donald Trump's spiritual adviser has summoned 'angelic forces' in a bid to secure his re-election. You can see the summoning for yourself here:

In a service shared online, televangelist Paula White-Cain beseeched angels from Africa and South America to come and ensure Trump retains his presidency in 'the name of Jesus'.

She also repeatedly said that she could 'hear the sound of victory', as well as speaking intermittently in some kind of unintelligible mantra.

"Strike at those people who think they have outmanoeuvred you, God," she said. "The Lord says it is done."

An extract of the service has been shared on Twitter, where it has been watched more than 27.4 million times.

But despite her best conjuring efforts and the viral popularity of her sermon, it seems the angels ain't listening.

Joe Biden has taken the lead in Georgia with 99% of the ballots now in, at the time of writing.

If the Democratic nominee wins there, it means that even if Trump wins all the remaining states - which he is not expected to - then he will still fall short of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the election.

Biden is currently leading in Arizona and Nevada, and is behind - but gaining ground in Pennsylvania. If he were to win that state - or just two from Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and North Carolina - then he would be declared the winner.

For Trump to retain his presidency, he needs to win Pennsylvania and must win three from Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and North Carolina.

But even with the race finally drawing to an end, three days on from election day, it seems finality with regard to the presidency is still some way off.

Trump claims he is the victim of fraud, but there is no evidence to support this claim.

Trump has continued to perpetuate unsubstantiated claims that he has been the victim of illegal voting, vote tampering and improper counting. As such, he intends to use whatever legal recourse he has to contest results in key states.

Speaking at a White House press conference yesterday (Thursday), he said: "People know what is happening and they have seen what is happening. Incidents reported shortly. A tremendous investigation going on and this is a case where they are trying to steal an election, to rig an election and we cannot get that happen.

"We think there is going to be a lot of litigation as we have so much evidence, so much proof and it is going to end up perhaps at the highest court in the land. We will see. But we think there will be a lot of litigation.

"I have a feeling judges are going to have to rule but there has been a lot of shenanigans and we cannot stand for that in our country."
