Grandad Uses Sex Toy As Vase To Hold Flowers In Tribute To Late Wife

Grandad Uses Sex Toy As Vase To Hold Flowers In Tribute To Late Wife

Imagine your surprise to see that a floral display in someone's memory was sprouting out of a vagina-shaped sex toy...

We can all have to improvise a little from time to time, don't we? I mean, we've all attached some old tat to our suitcase making it 'stand out' from the rest, lodged our phone on the nearest object in sight to prevent ourselves from having to suffer the strenuous task of, y'know, holding it - and don't get us started on the inflatable swimming pool beer can chiller.

But one bloke took things to an extreme and his improvisational skills hit another level when he placed flowers into a vagina-shaped sex toy belonging to his grandson.

And to make matters all the more painful (how can it get more painful?), the floral display was actually a tribute to the old man's beloved wife. That's how.

The grandson was visiting the family home, at an undisclosed location in Japan, and wanted to see the altar set up in his grandmother's memory.

A traditional practice in Japan, it generally involves a display of photographs, flowers, the ashes of the deceased and offerings such as cakes.

The man found out his grandfather had taken a pair of pliers to make a hole in the top of the sex toy in order to fit the flowers in.

But the grandson, named only by his online name of 'koniy0805' (safe move), noticed something was not quite right.

His grandfather had placed a bouquet of flowers on the table inside what turned out to be the young man's 'Tenga' brand masturbation aid - alongside his late wife's photo.

The traditional Japanese set up in all of its glory.

The confused pensioner had mixed up the red and white sex aid with a flower vase and included it as part of the altar display.

Koniy0805 said: "My grandmother passed away a year ago, so I wanted to say a prayer for her, and I saw that the Tenga I received as a going-away present when I quit my old job is being used in the worst way anyone has ever used it.

"Grandpa... that's not a flower vase. Why didn't any of my relatives stop him before this happened? The only silver lining is that I hadn't ever used it."

Maybe the grandfather got mixed up with the Tenga advertising.

Often people say they haven't used something when they definitely have. It's alright, curiosity gets the better of all of us.

'Koniy0805' said he managed to remove the sex toy from the display and dispose of it - but admitted he did not have the heart to tell his grandfather why.

Tenga is a Japanese company which makes male masturbation aids, lubricants and related products.

Its Tenga 3D series became the world's first product of its kind to win an industrial design award in 2012 when it was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award at a ceremony in Germany.

Sadly, the prestigious award was not for holding the floral tribute to mourn the death of a loved one...
