Halloween is a particularly difficult time of year for Melissa Sloan.
The woman has several kids who no doubt would get excited for the spooky season.
However, she is never invited to soirees where she lives.
The 46-year-old reckons it's because of her tattoos.
Melissa has around 800 designs all over her body and has covered her face three times with ink.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the woman from Wales said: "People say I don’t need a costume because I’m scary enough.
"They don’t know the inside of me, bless them.
"I just take no notice of them as there’s nothing I can do, nothing I can do. I just carry on with the tattoos, more tattoos.
"I’ve never been invited to a Halloween party, I’d love to be invited but that’s not happened. I’d scare them all when I walk through the door."
However, she was asked what outfit she would wear if she did eventually get an invite and she listed one of the greats.
Melissa says she would get a Freddie Kreuger mask as well as a red and grey jumper.
The 46-year-old says as least her face would be covered up and people wouldn't have to see all her tattoos.
If she couldn't find that outfit in time, then she says she would love to go as Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre because, again, she would have a mask on.
But Halloween isn't the only time of year that Melissa struggles to interact with others.
While Melissa loves tattoos, she is now all too familiar with being left out and not even permitted to enter certain venues because of the way she looks.
Over the years, the 46-year-old has been banned from a variety different areas of life, including work, school, and even the boozers.
In fact, the mum has even been banned from some tattoo parlours as they don't feel comfortable tattooing her out of fear she has an ink addiction.
Melissa says there's 'nothing she can do about it' now, however the taste of a nice cold pint in the British summer is surely a big miss.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "I can't get a job. They won't have me. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live and they won't have me because of my tattoos."
Melissa claims she had to watch her children's nativity play last year through the window, as she was not allowed inside of the school.
"No Christmas parties and when I go to my child's school, I don't get invited," she said.
