Footage has emerged of the sickening moment a brewery worker was caught on camera having a wee on a delivery of beer ingredients.

CCTV footage from the Tsingtao Beer Factory in Qingdao, China spotted the moment the brewery received a delivery of malt grain and a worker hopped into the container.

He was then seen to look around to make sure that nobody could spot what he was doing, and, seemingly unaware that a security camera was staring right at him, unzipped his trousers.

The worker, who local media suggests likely worked for the delivery company bringing the beer ingredients to the brewery, then answered the call of nature by urinating over the malt which was set to be made into Tsingtao beer.

Giving another look to see if anyone had clocked what he was doing, and still seemingly oblivious to the fact that he had already been caught on camera, the worker then zipped himself up and hopped out of the back of the delivery truck.

The man was caught on camera clambering into the back of a brewery delivery truck.

Fortunately for those who don't want to drink beer that tastes a little too much like p**s, the brewery has insisted that none of the malt actually ended up making it into their batches of beer.

Tsingtao released a statement claiming that it sealed off the contaminated ingredients and will be keeping a close eye on the process lest anyone else decide to take a slash in its beer.

It said: "We promptly reported it to the police, and law enforcement is currently investigating.

"The batch of malt involved has been completely sealed.

"We are intensifying our management efforts to ensure product quality. We welcome consumers to supervise our processes."

An investigation has been launched into the disgusting incident and the authorities are attempting to determine exactly who the man in the footage is.

He's then seen urinating in the malt which would have been made into beer.

He's seen in the footage wearing a hard hat and a blue uniform, with police now aiming to find out who he is.

If he ends up being caught and identified then he could face punishments ranging from a stern warning to up to seven years behind bars.

Then again, considering some of the things which actually go into a person's beer you might not think a bloke's p**s is among the worst.

While beer is mainly grains, hops, yeast and water there are other things in there which you might not have known about.

Many beers also contain something called isinglass, which comes from fish guts, so if you see a beer that's not friendly for vegetarians that's probably the reason why.
