Extreme Tattoo Fan Who Spent £75,000 On Ink Says 'Inside Bum' Was Most Painful

Extreme Tattoo Fan Who Spent £75,000 On Ink Says 'Inside Bum' Was Most Painful

Remy, 33, has revealed details of some of his procedures which date back to 2001

A tattoo fanatic has opened up about his journey with ink and has revealed the most painful area to be worked on - the 'inside of the bum'.

Remy, a 33-year-old chef, had his first facial piercing in 2001 followed by his first tattoo - his son's name in script - in 2009.

The dad, from Canada, spoke to the Daily Star about the work he's had done and detailed the money he's spent as well as the areas he doesn't have tattooed (spoiler: there aren't many).

He told the publication: "Since I started getting tattooed I've spent somewhere around $120,000-130,000 CAD [approximately £70,000-£75,000].

"But including piercings and jewellery I'm well over $150,000 CAD [£87,000]."

He went on to detail the more painful ink he's had, saying: "Maybe the inside of the bum, or the deeper regions of the inner thighs, those areas are fairly sensitive."

And when it comes to the areas he doesn't have inked are 'most' of his face, his ears, the soles of his feet and parts of his palms.

Unfortunately, this has led to Remy being trolled for his appearance but he doesn't let it get to him. Plus it's only keyboard warriors that take the time to slam his decisions.

He explained: "I never get any 'bad' or 'hateful' comments from anyone family or stranger in person.

"I only ever hear those sorts of things from people online, in public I get only positive or curious comments.

"When I receive hate online I either ignore it or wish the hater/troll well, as I'm big enough to realise what's upset them isn't me."

He added: "I realise something else is unfulfilled or bothering them in their personal life."

When it comes to advising others who are keen on beginning their own journey with tattoos, Remy said: "I would say not to be in a hurry. The journey is the funnest part.

"And if you do this as a marathon rather than a sprint you'll have a lot better time, and make better memories."

As well as all of his tats, Remy has a collection of piercings with a number of plugs in his ears after stretching them.

He also has above and below his lips pierced, dimple piercings and the bridge of his nose... twice.
