There are some things you just can't believe you're reading - or typing - but you just can't stop...

Meet Logan South, 32, and his wife Daley, 31. They live as real-life vampires and have shared all the gory detains about their monthly ritual which includes feeding off their 'donor' girlfriend's blood.

The couple have opened up on We TV reality series Extreme Love about how they use the same 'tool' as the one people living with diabetes use... not very, erm, vampire-like.

They then go on to suck the blood from the fingertip of their 'donor' girlfriend - something they claim to do once or twice a month.

Daley explains that for her there is no 'sexual aspect' for her adding: "I don't get turned on while I'm drinking blood, it's just something that - hey, it's been a month I probably need a feed, I've been feeling a little down -do you mind?" Erm, yeah funnily enough, I do.

So, she describes it as some sort of hit. For Logan it's a completely different kettle of fish though.

The relationship with 'donor' girlfriend, Ilona, has turned into something 'a lot more involved' for Logan.

Daley added: "I'm someone that needs it, but I'm not a big fan of it. For Logan, it can be very sexual for him.

"There is a sense of a very sexual nature to it, you know, because it is someone taking you in."

Daley and Logan both wear fangs, avoid sunlight, and drink blood.

Logan and Daley both live their lives as a vampire would be expected to. They wear fangs, avoid sunlight, and drink blood - sounds legit.

Daley says that being in sunlight for too long gives her a 'pretty bad headache' with Logan adding: "I go into direct sunlight as little as possible. I would say maybe a grand total of an hour a week if that."

But they do take precautions stressing 'It's a good idea to know your donor' and Ilona is tested for illnesses once every six months.

According to the MailOnline, Logan and Daley have been polyamorous from the start of their seven-year relationship. The pair wed in 2017 and are now known as the 'king and queen' of the Vampire Court of Austin, Texas.

Admitting that she'd never been in an open relationship, Daley said that Logan was very upfront. She said: "Hey, this is what I've always been. This is what I do. I'm open and poly and that's just who I am. Like, I can't change that."'

Logan added: "The first time I ever consumed blood, it was empowering, heightened all of my senses and sensations - a rush."

Well, there's one we should probably put a warning on: do not try this at home.
