A woman from Dudley, West Midlands, has admitted that using coupons has helped her save the funds to upgrade her one-bedroom house to a larger family two-bedroom house.
Laura Carrington, mother of one, carried a binder full of money-saving tokens with her wherever she went, reports the Mirror.
The 36-year-old says it has all been worth it. The frugal shopper saved between £6,000 and £10,000, which was enough to upgrade her house.

From toilet roll to fabric softener, there isn't much that Carrington won't get her coupons on.
Her obsession to find a good deal goes further though. Apparently, she cadged lifts off friends and family to go to the shops, which is up to 10 miles away, each day for a whole month.
Although I think she is off her head, she did donate 10 of the 60 bottles of fabric softener to her local food bank. I haven't quite worked out what's edible about fabric softener nor why she couldn't donate one of her six loaves of bread that are in her freezer.

In between working at a shop, she is known to spend up to three hours a week roaming the web to find worthwhile coupons for future shops.
"We spend half what an average family does, just by savvy spending," she said.
I bet her daughter feels spoilt rotten on birthdays and Christmas day.
