One grandson decided that he wasn't going to let his nan's funeral be a sombre affair, and instead honoured his beloved grandmother by turning up in her mobility scooter with a basket of cans.
Grandmother-of-ten Rita Cargill passed away from cancer at 72, but the family made sure that her funeral suited her incredible personality.

Known locally in her hometown of Wigan as Mad Madge, because she was similar to the Benidorm character, her daughter in law Kirstie Fisher said that Rita 'loved a drink and a smoke', saying her partner-in-crime was often her grandson McKenzie.
Kirstie told Metro it was her husband's idea to get him to follow the funeral procession with her favourite drink, Magners cider.
Speaking to the news outlet, she said: "Everyone was at the church with their heads down and when McKenzie turns up behind the horse and carriage they were just in stitches laughing.

"He's only 12. When everyone turned their heads and they saw the 'Mad Madge' flowers they were laughing their heads off.
"Even in the cemetery as well. She would have been laughing her head off as well. Afterwards we had the karaoke on and a big party for her. It wasn't a miserable wake, it's what she would have wanted.
"It were like a night out in Benidorm."
Apparently, McKenzie would often accompany his nan to the Spanish party town - making sure she got back in one piece.
She said: "She'd always hire a scooter so we used to call her Mad Madge.

"One day when she was in Benidorm she were that drunk McKenzie had to take her home on the scooter. McKenzie was really close with her. She'd loved him."
She added: "When we had parties at ours, she'd drive here on her mobility scooter with cans in her basket. Even though she were 70 odd she acted like a teenager."
Kirstie said that she dealt with her bone cancer diagnosis like a 'trooper' and didn't show that she was in pain during the last few weeks of her illness.
