Wolfgang Puck has likely been making final preparations for the Oscars menu, and now onlookers of the awards ceremony want to know what his net worth is in 2022.

Puck began cooking at an early age, with the help of his mother who was a chef in Austria, before going on to begin formal training at just 14 years old.

Now 72, Puck is an established name in Hollywood and indeed the rest of the world after paving his way as a celebrity chef.

As of 2022, Wolfgang Puck has an estimated net worth of $90 million, according to Wealthy Gorilla.

In his youth, Puck worked in some of France's most high-end restaurants, including Maxim's in Paris, the Hotel de Paris in Monaco and the 3-time Michelin starred L'Oustau de Baumanière in Provence.

At just 24-years-old, Wolfgang headed to the US and landed a job at the restaurant La Tour in Indianapolis.

In 1975, Wolfgang moved to Los Angeles and gained the sudden attention of Hollywood's latest and greatest names as the chef of Ma Maison in West Hollywood.

The celebrity chef has since been catering the Oscars' Governor's Ball for nearly 30 years and has been running a tight ship - insisting to the Academy that he makes the rules in the kitchen when it comes to designing the food on the night.

He told Hello! Magazine: "I told the board, 'I do what I want to do, not what you want to do.'

"You make great movies, I make great food, so let me do the food and you do the movies and we'll be friends. And they were happy because I didn't give them a choice."
