Ed Sheeran is touring the UK again in 2022 - and we've got all the information you need to bag yourself some tickets.
It will be Ed Sheeran's first time performing in stadiums since his ÷ Divide Tour, which ran from 2017 to 2019. His last tour set records for being the most-attended and highest-grossing tour ever - to think he only owned two pairs of socks before finding fame.
In fact, the first time one of Ed's concerts sold out, he got a tattoo to mark the achievement. Ed now has 62 tattoos, but thankfully, they're not all dedicated to selling-out concerts (there wouldn't be enough skin to cover).
His fourth album = (Equals) will arrive on 29 October 2021 ahead of his new tour, which will take him around cities across the UK and Europe in summer 2022.
Ed Sheeran will be hitting up six UK locations and there are 12 concerts in total. The 2022 tour kicks off on 12th May in Belfast and will conclude in Wembley Stadium on 1st july.
The tour dates and locations are as follows:
Tickets go on sale on Saturday 25th September 2021 at 9am.
Tickets of all types and for all tour dates can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
Ticketmaster has said that Ed Sheeran is very stringent about combating unethical second-hand ticket sales and there is a specific set of instructions people need to follow to buy tickets. The company has said:
"In preparation for tickets going on sale, we recommend that you register an account, if you do not have one already.
"The promoters of Ed Sheeran's tour are committed to combatting unethical secondary ticketing and resale.
"Your mobile/smartphone will be your ticket which will be contained within the iOS or Android Ticketmaster App. Once the tickets have been purchased, you will receive a simple email confirmation as proof of purchase. This is NOT your ticket or ticket(s).
"You will receive instructions on how to access your ticket(s) much nearer to the shows.
Upon arrival at the show, you will then be required to present your mobile/smartphone device containing your ticket(s), and you'll scan yourself and your party into the venue via the turnstiles/entrances."
