Marvel's Eternals is out in cinemas now with a whole host of new characters entering the MCU - and Harry Styles is among the new actors who have been linked to the MCU.

Marvel's Eternals is the 26th film in the Marvel franchise which stars Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Gemma Chan as the superhuman immortal beings known as Eternals.

The film sees the Eternals, who have lived for thousands of years on Earth under the radar, reunite to battle it out against the Deviants. Like Eternals, Deviants are superhuman beings, but the difference is they possess a cell mutation which gives them a grotesque physical appearance. And while they do have powers, they're not as powerful as Eternals.

So where does Harry Styles fit into all of this?

It's now been confirmed that Harry Styles has been cast by Marvel Studios to play Eros - aka Starfox.

In the comics, Starfox is the son of the Eternals A'Lars and Sui-San and brother of Thanos. He is the basis for Eros, the god of love and is described as less serious than other Marvel characters. Although he'll fight when needs be, he'd prefer to be travelling the galaxy, womanising and living it up. Naturally as a basis for the god of love, his power can make people fall in love - or in love with him.

Starfox is an Eternal, while Thanos is an Eternal with the Deviant cell mutation, which is why they don't look related in the slightest.

Is Harry Styles in Eternals?

Harry Styles isn't actually in the Eternals film per se. He makes his Marvel debut in the end credits of the movie.

Warning: Spoilers alert

During a mid-credits scene, which picks up some time after the events of Eternals, Druig, Makkari and Thena leave Earth in their spaceship in search of more missing Eternals.

Suddenly, they hear a noise and a portal opens, revealing a small goblin-like creature (Pip the troll) and behind him, Styles, who announces himself as Eros of Titan. He tells the Eternals he knows their plan and reveals where they can find more missing Eternals.

Alongside the ex 1D member, the end credits scene in Eternals introduces the audience to three more characters in the MCU and gives a clue about what happens next in phase four.

So to answer the question, no, Harry Styles isn't in Eternals. He's yet to have his moment to shine in a future Marvel movie.
