Hasbulla Magomedov shot to fame overnight after the announement of his fight with Abdu Rozik months ago.
Khabib has put Dagestan on the map with his championship. And now Hasbulla, hailing from the same Russian country, will be hoping to do the same.
If you've heard the name but don't really know much about him, Hasbulla Magomedov is a Russian social media star and fighter.
His recent rise to fame was due to his fight with fellow social media personality Abdu Rozik. Their pre-fight 'press conference' for this, which went viral on TikTok, mimicked UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov's. This helped earn Hasbulla the name 'Mini Khabib.'
Hasbulla, 18, has dwarfism and a rare genetic condition which gives him a child-like appearance.
Hasbulla and Khabib have since struck up a friendship and the two Dagestanians have appeared in TikTok videos together.
Are Hasbulla and Khabib related?
No, Hasbulla is not related to the UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
It's easy to assume the two might be related, with them coming from the same country and Hasbulla being dubbed the 'Mini Khabib' by the entire UFC world. However, despite the bromance, the two aren't related.
When is Hasbulla vs Abdu Rozik?
Currently, it's not happening. The pair have clashed a number of times but a fight has failed to materialise time and time again.
A row erupted over the fight, which was said to be a contest between two teenagers with dwarfism and it has also been condemned by the Sports Association of Little People of Russia for being "unethical".
