Is this it? Tonight's Line of Duty season 6 finale may or may not be the last episode ever, which makes us wonder, will it be a longer than usual episode?
The biggest mystery we hope to be revealed is the biggest one of all: who is H? If you believe the Line of Duty betting odds from the bookies, Ted's nemesis Patricia Carmichael is the current 2/1 favourite. Philip Osborne is the next favourite at 4/1 and our man Ted Hastings is still in the running at 8/1.
The British public have a slightly different view according to a survey conducted by YouGov, which puts Osborne ahead of Carmichael in the evil genius stakes.
Amazingly, 3% of the UK believe Kate Fleming is H. Surely not? We certainly hope not, anyway.
Who do Line of Duty viewers think "H" is?
- YouGov (@YouGov) April 30, 2021
Philip Osborne - 22%
Patricia Carmichael - 19%
Andrea Wise - 6%
Ted Hastings - 6%
Marcus Thurwell - 4%
Rohan Sindwhani - 4%
Kate Fleming - 3%
Chris Lomax - 3%https://t.co/vCWt1zW5sy pic.twitter.com/I82r1CxCmV
Despite this being arguably the biggest ever episode of Line of Duty with so many plot threads to complete, tonight's Line of Duty finale is the standard 60 minutes long.
Does this mean there could yet be a seventh season of Line of Duty? Who knows, but creator Jed Mercurio loves a cliffhanger so we can't rule it out yet.
Never fear, Line of Duty remains in its usual 9pm slot on BBC One. It'll stream on BBC iPlayer simultaneously and be available to rewatch on iPlayer right afterwards.
