Sex/Life is the hot new Netflix series that everyone is talking about right now. And even if you haven't seen it, you've almost certainly heard about it - in particular, episode 7.
So why is everybody talking about this episode in particular?

What is Sex/Life about?
The series, which was released by the streaming service on 25th June, tells the story of Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi), a suburban wife and mother with a wild sexual past.

But those two worlds collide when her "bad-boy" ex Brad Simon (Adam Demos) comes crashing back into her life and she can't stop fantasizing about him. The two begin to pick up where they left off and embark upon a series of steamy sexual encounters.
Billie is soon left with the tough decision of whether she goes with Brad or, bringing a bit of her old, wild self into her marriage, stays with her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel). Throughout the series, we see Billie try to spice up her marriage with Cooper - and the couple have certainly bitten off more than they can chew.
You can see why it's got everybody talking and asking when there'll be a season two of Sex\Life. There's definitely some Fifty Shades of Grey vibes to it.
Sex/Life episode 7 recap
In this episode, we find out why Brad and Billie broke up all those years ago and see Billie and her husband Cooper fail at a sex party.

The penultimate episode in series 1 sees Brad turning to Billie's friend, Sasha (Margaret Odette) for advice on how to get Billie back.
She reminds him of the poor way he treated her after she suffered a miscarriage and he casts his mind back to that moment. He wanted to go back to work and asked for space, leaving her in her hour of need.
Soon after the miscarriage, Billie caught Brad hooking up with a girl at her cousin's wedding, bringing the relationship to an end. Billie believes he intended for her to catch him in the act as an excuse to dump him, which Brad's father did to his mom. Begging for one more chance, Billie storms off, but not before she tells Brad to go and work things out with his father.
Sex party gone wrong
But the scene that's got viewers talking is the one where Billie and Cooper go to a sex party.

As Brad broods over the mistakes he made with Billie, she and Cooper embark upon a wild attempt to spice up their marriage.
Billie's friends Tina and Devon take the couple to a sex party, which ends in a punch up.
At first, Billie and Cooper are giddy with excitement as they enter the party. Cooper turns out to enjoy it more than Billie does, as she realises she doesn't want her husband to be like Brad.

Billie starts to get dressed, but Cooper is reluctant to leave and Tina starts to go down on him. As he orgasms, Billie goes to storm off but Devon makes a pass at her.
Brad then punches Devon - which is a bit hypocritical.
Later on in the episode, we see Cooper and Billie return home from the hospital with Cooper's arm in a sling.
And if that's not enough drama, Brad is outside the house and calls Billie to come and meet him. He's holding the engagement ring he would have given her all those years ago.

Billie tells Brad that her life no longer makes sense and he tells her to stop trying so hard in this life she has now.
The episode ends with a huge decision for Billie to make: will she stay with Cooper or go back to Brad?
