Bruno A Cat Who Is Just Too Extra Needs a Home

We all know someone who's picky, or fussy, or just likes things that're that little bit extra, well how about the cat who would need more care and attention than your average toddler?

Meet Bruno, the seven-year-old cat who needs ton of attention, only likes to be pet in very specific places and drink water in very specific rooms.

If this sounds like the level of responsibility you need in your life, he could be the cat for you - because he's looking for a home.

Move over Alanis Morissette, Bruno is perfect to add to someone's life who loves a bit of irony - he's the ultra-high-maintenance cat - a species which is decidedly better for those looking for a low-maintenance pet.

Bruno even has his own description to entice the right home: "According to the larger-than-life feline he's: Very chatty, on a diet, only likes his feather wand toy (but not the others!), stands on his hind legs when he's hungry (objectively a good thing), will refuse to eat unless you pet him, will meow incessantly even after you've given him food, unless you are literally petting him while he eats, likes to be pet on his face, and will get pissed if you touch his belly, even though he likes to stand up and expose his belly whenever he's hungry and only drinks water if it's in a separate room from the kitchen, where the food is."

The rescue center, Wright Way Rescue, suggests putting multiple bowls throughout the house for Bruno.

Long story short, this cat is the definition of extra.

But why shouldn't Bruno be a bit extra? There're dogs with favourite jumpers, bunnies and ferrets that must be walked on a harness, birds that won't be caged and us humans are just as bad, if not worse.

From our lifestyles, to our distaste for certain foods, we're all a little extra in our own way.

He may be extra, he may be a little overweight, he may be fussy and he may need more attention than a picky toddler, but Bruno is a cat who knows what he wants - basically, a home that's more than willing to pander to him - and at least there's a man out here who knows what he wants from life.
