A woman who says she has spent close to £150,000 on her pets has offered a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of her animals.

Explaining that she sees her pets as her 'children', Camila Elle, a 22-year-old model from Florida, says that much of the hefty spending comes via costly medication, food and toys.

"I love them more than anything in the world, they are my life. Of course I buy them the best of everything," Camila said.

Camila owns three cats - Yuumi, Miso and Tigger - as well as a dog, Zed.

She went on to reveal that spending hundreds on a meal for them is a fairly frequent occurrence.

She said: "I spend far more on them than I do on myself each month.

"I'll think nothing of dropping $500 (£360) on something really tasty for their dinner but I'll only have cheap noodles.

"Two of the cats are pedigree breeds and the other is an adopted black cat.

"Miso is a Persian and she cost $2,000 (£1,400), and Yuumi is a British Longhair, and she was also $2,000.

"The most expensive was my dog Zed, who cost $4,000 (£2,900).

"He's so gorgeous, an Italian greyhound-whippet-mix, or 'Whippig' for short.

"My pets are my children, that's how I see them."

The model earns seven figures a year through her OnlyFans page, and estimates that she spends around $1,000 (£730) per month on pet expenses.

That's considerably more than the average pet owner in the UK, with Brits spending between £16,000 and £33,000 ($22,000 and $45,000) over the course of their animal's life.

Camila added: "My fluffy kitties need to be groomed twice a month because of their long hair, which costs $150 (£109) each time.

"Miso is on Prozac because she's an anxious girl and that costs $50 (£37) a month for her prescription.

"When it comes to their diets I make sure they all eat raw food as it's the best thing for them and their coats.

"I make sure they get the best delicate cuts, beef liver, chicken hearts, duck liver, minnows and muscles, Greek yogurt.

"That usually comes to around $200 (£140) a week, unless it's one of their birthdays so they'll get something extra special.

"I also know the cats hate feeling dirty so I've put three automatic litter trays in each room so they're never caught out."

She also added that two treadmills had been purchased for the pets, along with five cat towers and a custom-built cat tree that's in the works, which will cost an estimated $5,000 (£3,600).
