The Tinder Swindler: Where Is Ayleen Charlotte Now?

The Tinder Swindler: Where Is Ayleen Charlotte Now?

Simon Leviev promised he would repay his victims for their generosity, but deceived them with fake designer watches and invalid cheques.

Since the massive success of the true-crime documentary The Tinder Swindler recently took over Netflix, TV and film-fans are now wondering what has happened to Simon Leviev’s former girlfriends since the filming of the series, including victim Ayleen Charlotte.

The documentary depicts “a group of women who were the victims of a dating app based swindler join together in an attempt to hunt him down and recover the millions of dollars that were stolen from them”, according to the series’ synopsis.

Simon Leviev, born Shimon Hayut, conned women into believing he was Leviev, a well-off jetsetter and the son of Israeli businessman, the “King of Diamonds”, Lev Leviev.

He tricked his victims across Europe via the dating app, living an up-market lifestyle from the money he stole from women. The fraudster promised his victims he would repay them for their generosity, but deceived them with fake designer watches, invalid cheques and bank transfers which would bounce back. So, where is Ayleen Charlotte now?

Where is Ayleen Charlotte now?

Following her genius attempt to give Simon Leviev a taste of his own medicine, Ayleen Charlotte is thought to be living in Amsterdam, Netherlands, while she works in high-end fashion.

After Charlotte tipped-off the police when she realised Leviev’s true identity, she decided to get her own back by selling his designer clothes.

Taking his luxury items from brands like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Louis Vuitton and selling them on eBay, Ayleen made thousands - keeping the earnings for herself, of course!

As for the details of her eBay account, those are currently unknown, and it’s not clear whether she is still continuing to sell the rest of his belongings online.

Alongside Leviev's two other victims from the series, they have set-up a GoFundMe to get their "lives back" after all they lost as a result of being defrauded.
