Michael J. Fox And Christopher Lloyd Reunite Nearly 35 Years After Back To The Future Came Out

When you think of iconic movie duos, it's easy to think of Batman and Robin, Cheech and Chong, Woody and Buzz, Thelma and Louise, and Bonnie and Clyde.

But you might also think of another duo that is no stranger to jumping through time: Doc and Marty McFly.

It's been 35 years since Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd made the incredible film, Back to the Future, and the pair has come together for a special cause.

After Fox launched his namesake foundation for Parkinson's disease, he's held an annual poker tournament, where he raises money for research and development for a cure for the ailment.

Who else would you want cashing in chips that your on-screen mate Dr. Emmett 'Doc' Brown?

The two actors have uploaded photos of them embracing at the poker night, with Fox captioning his picture with:"All in with @mrchristopherlloyd at @michaeljfoxorg Poker Night."

Lloyd followed that up with a caption of his own: "Going 88mph for the @michaeljfoxorg Poker Night!"

The pair teamed up two years ago on the red carpet and before that Fox and Lloyd were seen hanging out with fellow cast mates Thomas Wilson (who played Biff) and Lea Thompson, who played Marty's mum Lorraine.

Fox, 58, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease - a degenerative disorder that sees the brain progressively damaged over time - over 20 years ago.

Initially, he kept the diagnosis secret from the public, but eventually announced the news in 1998, soon creating The Michael J. Fox Foundation to help advance research into the disease.

"People with Parkinson's have told me when they heard I was diagnosed, they were happy," Fox told People, explaining that it was because of the attention people knew he would bring.

"I said, 'I get it'."

But don't hold your breath for Lloyd, Fox or any of the old cast to reunite onscreen for a Back to the Future reboot.

According to Metro, Thomas Wilson said: "Basically, I think America is saying, 'Come on they've wrecked every other franchise with bad sequels, why not this one?' C'mon, we would watch it until it sucks."
