Danielle Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie but probably best known as 'Cash Me Outside' Girl, is all set to retire her catchphrase as she turns 18.

Bregoli became a meme after she first uttered the phrase five years ago on US TV show Dr Phil.

And the teen didn't just enjoy her 15 minutes of fame, she milked it for all it was worth and ended up making a lot of cash for herself, so fair play to her.

But now it seems as though she's ready to leave her catchphrase in the past - when asked by TMZ how she felt about 'auctioning off her catchphrase' she said: "Yeah, I feel like... you know, it's gotta go.

"It's gotta go on to somebody else... I don't want it anymore."

When questioned about who she hoped might end up with the catchphrase, she added: "I don't care, as long as it goes to a happy home."

To mark her birthday, Bregoli is auctioning off 20 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) featuring original works based on the meme, her music and her rise to viral stardom, as well as works from various creatives including photographers, visual artists and filmmakers.

The sale, titled ETH Me Outside: A Cash Me Outside NFT, kicks off on Opensea on Friday, before going to Rarible on 29 March and finally Zora on 31 March.

Earlier this week, Bregoli opened up about her frustrations towards the phrase in a YouTube video.

She explained: "My problem with the meme was always that people only got to see half the story.

"For years I didn't even want to talk about it. People would say it and I would just be like, 'Okay yeah, whatever.'''

She continued: "It just surrounds me with negativity.

"That meme made everybody think I was just this evil, hateful little girl. No. That's why I hate it so much."

At the end of the video she added: "I wanna let this go, I wanna let this flourish on its own. The next bitch can have it - do what they wanna do with it.

"There's going to be an owner of this s*** going forward, but it damn sure ain't gonna be me."
