Predator star Sonny Landham has died aged 76.
Sonny played tracker Billy Sole in the 1987 cult classic, as well as featuring in a number of other movies including 48 Hrs, The Warriors and Action Jackson.
His sister, Dawn Boehler, said the actor died from heart failure at a hospital in Kentucky.

Sonny, who began his career in adult films, also appeared on the small screen, with roles in The A-Team and Miami Vice.
Co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to pay tribute to Sonny:
The actor had a son, William, and a daughter, Priscilla.

The actor went into politics in later life, initially running in the Republican Party primary for Governor of Kentucky, but failed to win the nomination. He then re-entered as an independent candidate before withdrawing from the race and instead backing the Republican candidate.

He would then go on to be nominated by the Libertarian Party
for the US Senate seat, but this was later withdrawn after Landham made some
controversial comments while being interviewed for a radio show.

His last actor job was in 2009 film Mental Scars.
