We all have to start somewhere. For the most of us, that somewhere tends to be stacking shelves or collecting glasses, but for some people, it can be a little more glamourous. Those blessed with great talent struggle to keep it in and usually their gifts are obvious from the very beginning.

Take Will Ferrell. A tape has emerged that shows the comedian at the start of his career, auditioning for Saturday Night Live back in 1995. Unsurprisingly for the actor who'd go on to star in Anchorman, it's pretty funny.

Ferrell is returning to the show this weekend as a celebrity guest host - the fifth time that he has taken the reins since he left as a permanent cast member. This time, however, he is the target of the jokes rather than the writer of them, with Leslie Jones doing a killer impression of Ferrell in the More Cowbell sketch in a teaser trailer released earlier in the week.
