Jason Momoa has revealed he won't let his kids watch Baywatch and joked that his stint on the show 'never happened'.

The 42-year-old Aquaman star has two children, Lola Iolani, 14, and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, 12, with wife Lisa Bonet, 53.

Momoa chatted about his early role, where he played a character called Jason Ioane on 44 episodes of the show from 1999 until 2001, when he spoke on Australian radio show Fitzy & Wippa.

Talking to a seemingly half cut Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli after having a 'cocktail hour' Momoa said: "We don't say the B word here. We hide all of that mate! Never happened mate!"

He added: "We don't talk about those words, the B word didn't happen."

He also said his kids haven't watched Game of Thrones as he portrayed the role of Khal Drogo between 2011 and 2012... probably for the best.

During the interview, Wippa's wife made a surprise appearance and gate-crashed the room he was in to speak to the Honolulu, Hawaii native.

Dutch courage, eh?

Wippa explained: "Hang on, my wife has just walked in, she was responsible for the eyebrow," referring to the shaved patch in his eyebrow - which he did to imitate the star's trademark eyebrow scar.

When his wife Lisa came on the camera, Wippa asked: "Do you want to ask Jason a question honey?"

To which she said: "Hi how are you Jason? Congratulations on the movie.

"This might sound really creepy, but when Covid-19 is over you're more than welcome to stay with us... we have a spare bedroom."

We reckon he'll probably get a hotel.

Sending a message to his fans down under, Momoa told them to stay strong while in lockdown.

He said: "Tell everyone in Australia I love them. I truly enjoy your country, sorry about the lockdown, I hope you all stay safe."

Momoa was on the show promoting his new action thriller Sweet Girl where he plays a devastated husband vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife's death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter.

Sweet Girl is set to be released on Netflix on 20 August.
