Kelly Osbourne has revealed she has 'relapsed' after four years of sobriety, telling fans in an emotional Instagram video that she is now 'back on track' but is taking each day as it comes.

Osbourne, 36, shared a series of Instagram Stories with her followers, saying that she wanted to be 'honest' with them.

The TV personality and singer - who is the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne - also said she planned to release a podcast to explain more about 'what happened'.

She said: "This is a little hard for me to talk about but I've always promised you that I will be honest with you about where I'm at and what's going on in my road to recovery.

"I relapsed. I'm not proud of it but I am back on track and I will be doing a podcast where I tell everybody about what's going on and what happened.

"I just want to let you know that I am sober today and hopefully I'll be sober tomorrow. And it truly is just one day at a time.

"I wanted to tell you guys the truth because I never ever want to lie to you. Thank you so much for your support and love and you'll be hearing from me soon."

Osbourne celebrated her first year of sobriety back in 2018, and has always been open with fans about her journey.

That year, she told People in an interview: "People need to know rehab doesn't fix you, it just helps you to get yourself on the right track.

"You're never fixed. You spend your whole entire life doing everything you can to never pick up and use again."

Last year, she also appeared on DJ Fat Tony's podcast The Recovery, where she said she didn't believe she would live to the age of 35 - saying that many of her friends 'didn't make it'.

She said: "I never truly slept, I would pass out from whatever I drank or took and came to... I don't know how I did it for as long as I did. I embalmed my body."

Osbourne said she decided to get help after realising she couldn't carry on living in a 'haze of hangovers and withdrawals'.

She continued: "I thought, 'I don't want to live like this anymore', I'd put blackout curtains in my house so I didn't know what time it was.

"I realised I wasn't going to make it. I'd be dead, if I keep doing this."
