Kevin Hart has been involved in a car accident in California, the California Highway Patrol has confirmed.
The 40-year-old actor and comedian was riding as a passenger in his car, which was being driven by Jared S. Black.
According to a press release from the CHP, the vehicle - a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda - crashed at 12.45am on Sunday in West Valley when Black turned from Cold Canyon Road onto Mulholland Highway.

The release said: "Black immediately lost control of the vehicle and the Plymouth left the road and rolled over down the northern embankment."
It also said Black was 'determined not to be under the influence of alcohol'.
Hart and Black were taken to nearby hospitals as a result of 'major back injuries', while another passenger, Rebecca Broxterman, suffered 'only complaint of pain'.
