Adult film star Lisa Ann has said real-life step-mothers are often uncomfortable with doing step-kid porn, as 'they don't want to do that incestual thing'.
Lisa Ann is known in the porn industry as the world's most famous MILF, having been one of the biggest stars in adult entertainment for more than two decades.
But while the mother archetype is one that's often worked in her career's favour, she believes it's not always quite so straightforward for other adult actors.
Speaking with The Minimalists' Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus on their podcast, Lisa Ann explained how some female stars sometimes feel unhappy about playing a step-mother if they actually are one in real life.

Linking issues like this to the rise of content creator platforms, she said: "That's why the OnlyFans thing really popped off the way it did, was because more women said, 'I've been in this long enough where I've been asked to do way too many things that I'm not comfortable with, so I'll just shoot my own content.'
"A lot of these women are step-moms; they don't want to play a step-mom in a movie. They don't want to do that incestual thing, that bothers them or it makes them worry about society.
"Why are we promoting something that we should not be promoting?"
Lisa Ann continued: "That's those people, and I think I'm worried about the porn of the future because we don't bring in fresh minds or young people.

"What do you wanna see? Why are these all older men that have seen everything? If we bring in some 18-year-olds and say, 'If you could direct a porno, what would you write?'"
She added: "I'd be intrigued to know."
Lisa started out as a dancer in the 90s, learning the tricks of the trade from actors who worked in her club and took her under their wings, before she flew to Los Angeles to pursue her own career.

Speaking to LADbible last year, she discussed how MILF porn managed to become one of the most popular and most-searched niches around - which wasn't always the case.
She said: "When I got into the business, there really weren't any older women in porn, there were no girls shooting in their 30s.
"Then shows like Desperate Housewives started mimicking older women with younger men and it became a 'thing', and translated so beautifully into porn.
"I was super lucky to get the Sarah Palin opportunity when all of that exploded at the same time."

She added: "It was like stepping back into the 90s again because it was campier, it was happier, it was fun again.
"The MILF never had violence struck on her, she was always the aggressor, she was always the lead of the scene.
"So when I was just starting to get afraid of being in the business because it was getting violent, I was like, 'Oh, I've found this safe space again and I can hold on for just a little bit longer and I can enjoy it again.'"
