Man Asks Woman For Her Instagram Without Realising It's Rihanna

A man asked Rihanna for her Instagram handle without realising who he was talking to. Awkward. Watch below:

Rhianna attended a Stop Asian Hate rally in New York City where a fellow protester casually asked her for her Instagram details.

With absolutely no hesitation, the Umbrella singer typed in her handle, much to the shock of the fella who had asked her.

Spotting that his phone was now open on the @badgalrir account, he could be heard asking in a shocked voice: "That's you?!"

It is indeed, my friend - let's hope you get a follow back.

The clip has since gone viral, with social media users loving the way Rihanna handled the whole interaction.

One person wrote: "She's so down to Earth. I love it."

Another said: "She's so humble and nice I love her so much."

While a third person joked: "Not recognising her should be a felony but see when you don't release music in five years."

Others questioned how the man hadn't spotted the singer, but given that she was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a mask, I reckon we can let this one slide.

This isn't the first time we've seen a wholesome interaction between Rihanna and a fan - just before Christmas the singer posed with a fan after bumping into him at a petrol station.

The clearly delighted fan was at a petrol station in Barbados when he saw RihRih picking up a few bits.

Not wanting to miss his chance, the fan approached Rihanna and asked her if she would record a short video message with him - which she was more than happy to do.

In the clip, the pair - who are wearing face coverings - stand next to each other as the man says: "Herself, in person, Rihanna."

To which Rih then replies: "At a random gas station, we're not even buying gas, we're not even driving!"

Over the moon with the meeting, the man then says: "One in a million, my Christmas just got made early."

The singer replied with: "Barbados!"

Isn't it nice to see celebrities being thoroughly decent people, eh?
