It kind of feels like Post Malone just landed on the planet as he is; it's difficult to imagine him fresh faced and clean cut.

But a Photoshop expert has shown us just how different he looks without all his ink and all I can say he looks very... normal. Not only did YouTuber Mitchell Wiggs take off his face tats, he also smoothed out his signature curly hair, instead opting for a neat short back and sides.

Instead of his unique facial art he is left with not only a clear face but an absolutely great complexion.

The video itself is pretty mesmerising, as Mitchell gradually removes Post's tattoos one by one, evening out his skint tone and getting rid of any sign of them.

He's left looking very clean cut and mature, and you can easily envision him as part of a boy band or working in a bank. He certainly looks more like the type that your dad wouldn't mind you bringing home.

But it doesn't look like Post is planning on stopping his tattoo addiction any time soon, and he's even recently added to his collection.

During a trip to Japan last year, the American artist popped in to the Three Tides Tattoo parlour in Tokyo and added another etching to his face by the incredibly impressive artist Ganji.

The studio shared a video of him seeing his new tattoo for the first time and it's fair to say he's a fan.

His facial tats have become a bit of a talking point, particularly when the star decided to get the words 'always tired' inked under his eyes. I mean, I agree with the sentiment but I think I'd stop short of getting it permanently marked on to my face.

When asked by Tim Westwood why he had chosen those two words specifically, he replied: "I tried to do something that's relatively the same length of letters.

"I guess 'always' is more letters than 'tired,' but I was tired, so I didn't realise."

When asked why he decided to start inking his face, he said: "Anything to piss my mum off."

Before adding: "It's not right. I got a face for radio anyways, so why not?"

He's a little rebel isn't he.
