We know that the rich and famous often like to have someone scurrying around doing the tedious jobs they don't fancy doing, but - in what seems like the height of celeb extravagance - notorious weed-smoker Snoop Dogg even hires a full-time blunt roller.

Back in 2019, the rapper appeared on the The Howard Stern Show alongside fellow pot enthusiast Seth Rogen, where he was asked why he required a blunt roller.

Snoop simply replied: "I don't have time."

Rogen then heaped praise on the rapper's employee - who he had encountered when hanging with Snoop in the past - and said the guy had a knack of appearing with a blunt in hand at just the right time.

Snoop added: "Timing. That motherf***er's timing is impeccable. That's his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resumé, it says, 'What do you do?' 'I'm a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.'

"If you're great at something I need, I'm hiring you."

Stern then asked how much money Snoop's PBR earned.

"That's somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year," Snoop said - so between around £28,000 and £35,000, then.

He continued: "Free weed - all paid expenses. Everything I get, he gets. I go get some free clothes, I give him some."

Sounds like a decent gig.

But while it may appear to be the cushiest job going, Rogen made it clear that this guy isn't just some dosser - he's a damn craftsman.

Rogen said: "He knows how to gauge the look on somebody's face when it seems like they want a blunt, and if they do, he gives you one.

"There's been like 40 minutes where I'm like, 'I'm just watching this guy and I'm just going to see what is going on here.' As someone who smokes a lot of weed, it's f***ing fascinating."

After a fair bit of laughter in the studio - and Stern declaring Snoop a 'genius' - Rogen then seemed to conclude that he should get himself a PBR too.

He said: "Honestly, the amount of time I spend rolling joints, it might be worth my while financially to hire someone to do that."

How privileged these men are.
