Steven Spielberg’s Daughter Mikaela Says Parents ‘Expected’ Her Porn Career

Stephen Spielberg's daughter Mikaela says her parents 'expected' her move into porn and are 'not sad' about it.

The 24-year-old - who was adopted by the filmmaker and his wife Kathleen - announced her plans to forge a career in adult entertainment last month and said it is 'my body, my life, my income, my choice'.

In the aftermath of the announcement, Mikaela said people have been feeling sorry for her parents, but she insists there are no victims in this story.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: "My parents - despite what people have written - aren't embarrassed, they were actually kind of expecting it to be my career... some sort of outsider art... or taboo art, because they've always known that I was a little bit neurotic.

"That's not to say all performers are neurotic... just the kind of performer I am. They've always known that whatever I wanted to do in life, I probably was going to do it whether they liked it or not.

"So it kind of felt like a little bit of a relief. It was like they were preparing themselves to get the news for this and they're not sad for me and my choice of career.

"I'm not sad for them. People shouldn't be sad for them. That's the one big thing - people are like, 'I feel sorry for your parents.' Nobody here is a victim."

Chuck Pankow, her 47-year-old partner, is also on board with the decision.

He said: "If she's happy and safe, I'm fine with it.

"It was a little weird at first when she was telling me what she wanted to do - I thought it was a little unusual.

"A conversation we had I asked her, 'But I feel you have so much more to offer the world than t**s and a**, and she looked at me and said, 'Well why not both?'

"So I couldn't really argue with that."

As for the response of the public, Mikaela says she's never felt so supported.

She said: "It's like 10 percent of the messages are negative and the other 90 percent is this beautiful, supportive community of other women and men who are in the same industry that I'm in right now that are like, 'You can do this independently, you can work for a studio... as long as you're being a good human, the sky's the limit.'

"I have never felt this supported in my entire life."

Once she's got her license, Mikaela intends to upload solo videos to Pornhub as well as working as a stripper.
