Teen actor Sissy Sheridan has filmed herself crying after discovering her face mask had been pierced onto her ear after receiving an ear piercing from a Claire's technician.
Sheridan, who is known for appearing on Nickelodeon's web series DIY With Me, shared the clip to her three million TikTok followers, telling fans it 'hurts so bad'.

The 16-year-old star told BuzzFeed that she had been to an Icing by Claire's store near her home in Sterling, Virginia, where she was getting a third piercing in each ear.
However, after trying to remove her mask in the car afterwards, Sheridan realised her face covering was stuck to her ear as it had been attached to the new piercing.
In a video filmed from the back of the car, Sheridan said: "I just got my ears pierced and she pierced it on my mask.

"I can't get it off and it hurts so bad. I hate Claire's. Look at it the white one, it's stuck in my ear.
"And they look so ugly I just want to take them out. Look at it. She pierced it on my mask."
Thankfully, her mother Leisa was later able to cut most of the mask free, and sent photos of what happened to the manager of the Icing at Claire's store in a bid to get a refund.
Leisa also claimed Claire's had told her it would be unable to refund the $73 piercing unless they returned the earrings, which are still stuck in her daughter's ears.
The concerned mother told BuzzFeed: "Her ear is obviously swollen and painful. ... I do not want to pull the earring out while the cotton is still in her ear.

"I am shocked that they are arguing about the refund when they were clearly negligent."
Carmen Sandy, the manager of the store Sheridan visited, told BuzzFeed: "She needs to bring the earring back and come into the store. I'll replace it for her [with] a full earring, but she didn't want to hear it. If she's unhappy, she needs to call corporate."
In an update video, Sheridan apologised for being 'dramatic', but told fans her ears still felt 'sore'.

She said: "Basically the mask is gone out of my ear, but there's still a piece of the plastic string stuck in my ear. When it got pierced it got pierced inside my ear.
"My ears are too sore and sensitive right now, because they just got a hole pierced through them, to take the earring out. And also if I take the earring out it could close up."
Sheridan added: "Sorry for being dramatic but I had no idea what to do and it really hurt so that was my reaction. I was crazy I was like aaaahhh."

In a statement provided to LADbible, Claire's said: "Over 40 years, Claire's has pierced more than 100 million ears. Customer well-being is always our main priority.
"We are investigating this incident and are taking appropriate corrective action. We have reached out to the customer offering support and a full refund, and have updated our ear piercing training guidelines to incorporate mask wearing."
The company also added that Claire's is not currently piercing in the UK.
