He's a sophisticated sex robot sent back through time to change the future for one lucky lady. Well, back in 1999 he was. Now he's a sophisticated real estate robot and he's ready to change the future. For one lucky home-buyer.

That's right, The Shermanator is now helping people in their quest to buy a home. Thankfully, minus the greasy, spiked hair.

Here he is, 'The Shermanator' is a realtor.

So in the 20 years since he first appeared in American Pie, the 38-year-old has seriously grown up. Like most of us do in 20 years, funnily enough.

In the process his career has taken a few different turns. Following his acting success, he went on to become a waiter in Los Angeles at sushi restaurant, Sushi Roku.

He was spotted back in 2016 and an eyewitness told Radar at the time: "It was kind of funny watching The Sherminator serve at a sushi restaurant.

"It was also sort of sad to see how quickly and easily an actor can fall from fame. No one in the restaurant even seemed to recognize him."

Despite his career choices, it seems there was no sign of him backtracking to his OG days because he was no where to be seen when Alyson Hannigan (better known as Michelle Flaherty) shared a picture of some of the cast members back together.

In photos shared on social media, we can see the East Great Falls crew reunite. Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Chris Klein, Natasha Lyonne, Tara Reid and Sean William Scott all got back together for a look back on what they created 20 years ago.

When it was released in 1999, the first film was one of many teenage sex comedies doing the rounds at the time, along with the likes of Road Trip, genre parody Not Another Teen Movie and cult classic Wet Hot American Summer (recently revived for a series by Netflix).

The first film was so popular, it spawned a grand total of seven further films: sequels American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion, along with spin-off movies American Pie: Band Camp, American Pie: The Naked Mile, American Pie: Beta House and American Pie: The Book of Love.
