On the build-up to a wedding all sorts of things run through your mind, will the cake be in one piece, will the DJ turn up, will it piss it down with rain. And all of those things are forgotten during the celebrations - or so I'm told.
But one thing this couple couldn't have any knowledge about what that Adam Sandler was going to make a grand appearance. It's just a shame he couldn't have turned full blown Robbie Hart and performed at the reception - did someone say inconsiderate?
Happy Gilmore himself pulled it out of the bag for newlyweds, Kevin and Alex Goldstein and he looked as delighted about it as they did.
According to the BBC, the Hollywood star was enjoying lunch with his family in Montreal, Canada, when he crossed paths with a couple having their wedding photographs taken.

During the five minute conversation, the couple's photographer took some snaps beside the mustachioed man in a white T-shirt and red shorts.
MTL Blog reports that Sandler is currently in the city filming a new Netflix movie with Jennifer Aniston called Murder Mystery. Which we're sure will be incredible, just remember the last time the pair were together they filmed Just Go With It back in 2011.
Anyway, the photo was shared by a friend of the family on Reddit, where it has been upvoted more than 27,000 times.
The groom, Kevin Goldstein, told the BBC: "My wife yelled his name. We were taking photos. He came over and wished us well, he was just chatting to us.

"We told him we're huge fans, we love his work, we've watched all his films. He replied, 'Good, I'll take some photos then - mazel tov'.
"My wife invited him to the wedding - he couldn't make it, but she was ecstatic, absolutely over the moon. We couldn't believe it."
What a LAD.
Kevin was speaking to the BBC from the newly-weds' honeymoon in Italy, and said Sandler was 'the nicest guy'. Which we sort of knew all along.

He added: "He took the time to take photos with us and spend time with us. It made our photos and wedding that much better."
And the couple's wedding photographer, Sana Belgot, who owns Mlle Sana Photography. She told LADbible: "We were taking some couple portraits at around 1:30pm last Sunday when the couple bumped into Adam.
"The bride just waved him and he took the time to come all the way around next to the couple, shake hands and congratulate them. He really was nice to us."
