Vera Wang Shares Secret Behind Her Youthful Look And Toned Physique

Just a few days ago fashion designer Vera Wang practically broke the internet when images surfaced of her looking particularly youthful - prompting many people to question the fact that she's 70.

The photos, which had originally been posted to Instagram, show Wang wearing hotpants and a sports bra, revealing her rock-hard abs. In others, she's also donning a long orange dress and matching face mask.

One shocked Twitter user had posted some of the images on Twitter, writing: "THIS B**** VERA WANG IS 70?!?"

Wang herself even retweeted the tweet, writing: "Fact Check: Truth."

Now the fashion icon has started sharing her secret to her toned physique and fresh-faced look, responding to fans on social media.

Many people asked Wang how the hell she managed to look younger than most of us do at half her age.

One person said: "I need my stomach to be like yours! What's your routine?"

Wang, who turns 71 next month, replied: "Work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun..."

Easy, right? I mean, I have the sleeping and booze down already, so I'm almost there.

Another tweeted: "Bro I want whatever @VeraWang is drinking..."

And Wang said in response: "Diet @CocaCola... typical of a NY fashion type."

Again, I feel like that one is doable - though I have a sneaking suspicion most of us might have to do a little bit more than down vodka cocktails and cans of Coke, sadly.

E! News also tweeted Wang to ask if she could design the world a skincare routine as her 'next project', to which Wang responded: "Challenge accepted."

Last month, the fashion mogul announced her firm was using their resources to help manufacture non-surgical face mask during the coronavirus pandemic.

Praising her staff for putting in the work on the project, Wang wrote: "We want to thank our in-house team of talented sewers, selflessly working from home to provide non-surgical face masks in support healthcare workers on the frontline. #StayHome."
