Adam Peaty reportedly received a heartbreaking text from his family after several members weren't invited to attend his special day.
The Olympic swimmer married Gordon Ramsay's daughter, Holly, on Saturday (27 December). Peaty and Ramsay have tied the knot over a year on from their engagement last September, with the bride's parents, Tana and Gordon, among numerous other members of her family in attendance.
However, only the groom's sister, Bethany, was in attendance when it came to Peaty's list of invitees.
Much of his family weren't present, despite the likes of David and Victoria Beckham and most of their kids celebrating with the happy couple. Peaty's mother, Caroline, said in a recent interview that 'it’s as if they have cut my heart out'.

It's believed that both her and Peaty's father, as well as their wider family, stayed at home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, as the wedding went ahead.

Caroline told the Daily Mail in an interview that she's 'broken' after going through her first Christmas without the whole 'family together', explaining: “Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on … because of the wedding.”
The grandma said that 'hurtful' text messages were exchanged, though she chose not to share them.
But now, the publication has revealed that Peaty was reportedly sent an emotional text message before he walked into the abbey while holding the hand of his five-year-old son, George.
Sent by his aunt Louise, the scathing message allegedly read: " hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
"Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams."
While there were 200 reported guests at the ceremony, there was no room for Peaty's family, as some members were also snubbed from the couple's engagement party in September last year.
Caroline also wasn't invited to Holly's hen-do at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds last month, though her own mother and even Victoria Beckham were present. It's believed that Caroline sent a card and gift to her son anyway, as it is his 31st birthday today.

Caroline said in a past interview: “Me going would just cause even more of a storm and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day. I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now.
“I don’t know if they are too young or don’t value family as much as I have, but they don’t understand that family is the foundation to everything.”
She said that she 'sees the positive in everything' even though Peaty's father is 'fuming' and 'so hurt' by his son's actions.
“I’ve not done this to ruin their wedding. It’s their wedding, yes, it’s a happy day – but it needs to be said,” she said, adding that she's 'so happy' that 'Adam is genuinely in love with Holly'.
