Adele reveals she is engaged after unique on-stage admission

Adele appears to have confirmed that she's engaged to Rich Paul, after announcing the news in the most unique way.

The singer, 36, was performing in Munich, Germany, when she revealed she's going to be married.

Adele and Paul have been dating for around three years after first being spotted in July 2021.

They were first seen getting cosy while watching Game 5 of the NBA finals.

Shortly afterwards, the two were spotted visiting Italian hotel chain, Cipriani, in New York.

They've since shared images of each other online with Adele also publicly speaking about the sports agent during an interview with Oprah on One Night Only.

“He’s just hilarious,” she said. “Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does.”

She also told Vogue back in 2021: “He was always there, I just didn’t see him. "Rich just incredibly arrived... I don’t feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild.”

And now, it seems the pair have taken their relationship to the next level.

At her show in Munich, on Saturday (9 August), Adele seemed to confirm that the pair are engaged.

It came about when a fan jokingly proposed to Adele, which prompted her to respond: “I can’t marry you, I’m already getting married,” before holding her left hand up.

Naturally, the crowd went wild as Adele showed off her diamond.

“But I appreciate it," she added to the fan.

Paul owns Klutch Sports Group, which is an American sports agency representing a number of prominent US sportsmen and NBA players.

Among Paul’s clientele are the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Adele announced her separation from ex-husband Simon Konecki, 48, in 2019, with the divorce being finalised in 2021. The pair share son Angelo, 12.

Adele previously revealed she was having 'five therapy sessions a day' following her divorce.

The singer was performing her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas when she explained she was going back into therapy to ensure she would be on top form for the shows.

She said: “I started having therapy again because I went a few years without. I needed to start.

“Before, obviously, when I was going through my divorce, I was basically doing five therapy sessions a day. But I stopped holding myself accountable for my own behaviour and the things I would say.

“But now I am doing it because I just want to make sure I’m topping myself up every week to make sure I can give you everything.”
