Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's eldest son, Maddox, appears to have changed his name.
The decision comes after it was reported that his younger sister, Shiloh, had chosen to do the same after she turned 18.
Pitt and Jolie famously met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2003, and officially announced they were together in 2005 after Pitt separated from his then-wife Jennifer Aniston. The pair got engaged in 2012 and later married in 2014, with Jolie filing for divorce just two years later.
Since then, they've been through a number of legal disputes, with their divorce finally settled in December 2024.

Maddox, 24, had previously been credited with the double-barrel surname after serving as a production assistant on Maria, a biopic about legendary opera singer Maria Callas, which was directed by Jolie.

He recently served as an assistant director on his mum's new movie, Couture, which debuted in French cinemas this week, where the end credits listed him as Maddox Jolie, rather than Maddox Jolie-Pitt, which is the name he was given as a baby.
According to People, 'production notes for the film provided to journalists showed Maddox’s name was also listed as Maddox Jolie' when Couture premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025. It's unclear if his name has been legally changed.
After it was reported that Shiloh had chosen to change her name in 2024, her lawyer issued a statement saying the now-19-year-old had 'made an independent and significant decision following painful events'.

Clarifying the rumours she had intentionally publicised the name change, the lawyer continued: "Shiloh Jolie did not take out an 'ad' announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate.
"As Shiloh's attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name. That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required."

Around this time, a source went on to tell People that Pitt 'has virtually no contact with the adult kids', adding that the actor's time with his younger kids is 'more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule'.
Meanwhile, the former couple's youngest child, 17-year-old Vivienne, was credited as Vivienne Jolie on the playbill of Broadway musical The Outsiders, where she worked behind the scenes as a volunteer production assistant back in May 2024.
In 2023, Zahara, now 21, introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie after joining Spelman College, where she became part of the Alpha Kappa Mu Pi sorority.
It's not clear if Vivienne and Zahara have legally changed their names.
Jolie and Pitt also share sons Pax, 22, and Knox, 17.
